Gone to the Lodge :)

So yesterday, my FHE family and I departed to go to up to the Lodge. It was great fun! When we arrived, Mom and Dad had dinner all fixed up for us - chili and cornbread. Having a home cooked meal was definitely nice.


After dinner, we all played games (including some of my favorites: nerts and crazy uno), and just hung out in our cabin. This morning, as I was getting ready for the day, I looked out the window and saw a beautiful sunrise. So I ran outside and took this picture.



We all gathered a bit later to eat our delicious breakfast of French toast. Then, we geared up and went snowmobiling.


It was a great ride! The weather was nice today, and nobody really got stuck (except with maybe one or two exceptions...).



After many hours of fun out on the trails, we returned to the Lodge. Upon putting all our gear away and getting everything in order, we ate lunch, packed up the cars, and departed for home. All in all, it was a great trip! We had a lot of fun together up at the Lodge!

So a couple of weeks ago Brooklyn came down to visit me here in Provo. During the course of her stay, we had some good laughs (the temple fireside, riding across campus in a golf cart for a campus tour, etc.). My roommates, Brooklyn, and I took this picture of us while she was here.

And that is basically all for now.

Football Game

On Saturday, I attended the BYU home football game against SDSU. As I was sitting there with my roommate Kristy, I looked up at the sky and noticed the beautiful sunset. I decided to take a picture of it, that's how much I loved it. Here it is! (okay, so I know this isn't the most amazing picture, but I blame that on the fact that I took it with my phone...)

More California/Disneyland Pictures

This is us on our way to Disneyland for the last time during our vacation.



Brooklyn and I stopped by the wishing well to through pennies in to make a wish. In the above pictures we were contemplating what we wanted our wishes to be.


We were walking through Disneyland and decided to take a random picture.


Um...I'm not sure what we were doing at this point in time; probably we were just taking random crazy pictures.


This is Brooklyn with Captain Barbossa, waiting in line for the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.


Brooklyn bought some mango slices that had this spicy stuff to put on it. Brooklyn put some on a piece of mango with the spicy stuff on it, and discovered that it didn't taste very good. So then she gave a piece of mango with the gross spicy stuff on it to me...


...and I ate it. I didn't even like mango to begin with, not to mention with the gross spicy stuff on it.

During the wait for the Indiana Jones ride, we took some pictures, due to the fact that the line was an hour long and we were bored.

Pictures from California

So Brooklyn and I are here in California, playing, hanging out, and going to Disneyland bunches. Along the way, we have taken oodles of pictures, so I thought I'd share some.

So this is Brooklyn in the line for the Snow White ride; who knows what she was doing...ha :)



Now here is me in the line for Snow White, with ghostly white skin....just like Snow White...ha :)


And here is us, exhausted by a long day of playing hard at Disneyland.


We're ghosts. I'm thinking I'll try out to be the next Phantom of the Opera, cause I now have the look pretty much down. :)
We met Peter Pan. It was pretty epic.

Us, in line for Thunder Mountain Railroad, goofing off like we do. Yeah, that's how we roll.

Here we were, once again goofing off and taking pictures in the line for the railroad.
We also met Chip and Dale. That was epic too, I guess....



....but only because we got lost leaving the area Chip and Dale were in while going in the direction the park workers pointed us in and we couldn't figure out how to get back to the sidewalk and the rides where we wanted to be.

4th of July

For the 4th of July weekend, we went up to the Lodge to work. On Saturday night, Brooklyn and I went for an ATV ride. It was a lot of fun! Although we did take one wrong turn, we successfully made it Lily Lake. There was a beautiful sunset that night, as seen in the pictures. So, I stopped and took these pictures with my phone.

My Birthday

So for my birthday on Thursday we went to the BYU baseball game. It was pretty intense. At the end of the game, after 9 innings, the score was tied; therefore, they had to go into extra innings. In the 10th inning, BYU was able to take the lead and win the game. We took some pictures, so I thought I'd share some of them.
