Harvest

Well, the next school dance is on it's way. It is on Saturday, October 25th, and it is the Harvest dance. I asked a boy named Spencer Jensen on Wednesday (yesterday). To ask him, I got a pumpkin, a bucket full of candy, and a poem that read: "Trick or Treat, you're so sweet, Here's some candy for you to eat. But before you eat it, here's what you must do: Look through this pumpkin and see what I left for you. Will you go to Harvest with me?". I had cut open the top of the pumpkin and put a bunch of little strips of paper inside it. On one of the strips, I wrote: "Now that you've looked through the trick, look through the treat to find my name." On one of the pieces of candy that I put at the bottom of the bucket I taped a piece of paper with my name on it. As we (Brooklyn and I) were driving down the street away from his house, Spencer and his brother passed us. (I'm pretty sure they were coming home from football practice.) I decided that it was a good thing that we didn't go a few minutes later than we did, cause they probably would've pulled up to their house while we were there dropping off this stuff if we had, and that would've been really awkward. I haven't gotten an answer yet, but I'm pretty sure he's going to say yes, cause today he told me he had a pretty cool way to answer me. And I'm pretty sure that you only come up with pretty cool ways to answer people if you're going to say yes. I am so excited to go to this school dance. It should be quite fun.
