Reports on My Surgery

Well, here I am, once again writing on my blog. About two weeks ago, I got surgery on my right ACL. It is pretty wierd to not remember anything that happened in between the time that I got the stuff put into the IV in my hand that put me to sleep and the time that I woke up with a pain in my knee. I have successfully started walking WITHOUT my crutches, although I do walk with a limp. Ya, I was kinda excited for those crutches, but after about a day on them, I found out that they weren't all as great as I thought they were going to be. I'm pretty happy that I don't have to use them any more. But because of those crutches, when I returned to school on Friday, I got a key to the elevator at our school. I can now say that I have done something that probably a lot of people haven't done: ridden in the elevator at Viewmont High School. So, because of this surgery, I have had two of my life-long dreams come true. I have used crutches, and I have ridden in the elevator at my school. I think that's about all I have to say for now....Oh, wait! I guess there is one more thing I can put on here. I am going to Viewmont High School's Christams Dance on December 13th, which is about 2 and 1/2 weeks from today. I am very excited. Because this is a formal dance, I bought a dress to wear to the dance. It is hot pink. Hopefully my date will wear a pink tie......(I'm guessing he probably won't though....oh well. It'll still be fun.)
