Well, I realized that I haven't posted anything for quite a while. Nothing new has really been happening than the same old stuff I am always doing, unless you want to count both of the rejections I recieved last week, my grandparents leaving for the MTC this morning, and the ballet performances I have this weekend. Well, I guess I'll start with the rejections. On March 28th, there is going to be another school dance. This one is MORP (prom backwards...spiffy, huh?). Anyways, I decided that I wanted to ask someone, so I proceded to ask him two weeks ago. Last Tuesday, he answered me back by leaving a package of popcorn with a note that said "Thanks for popping the question but I have a prior engagement that night. I'm sorry" on my porch. I'm guessing the only reason he waited for a week to tell me no is because I asked him before he found out if he had made the baseball team, and the prior engagement he has that night is something baseball related. Last Wednesday, (because I had been rejected last Tuesday), I proceded to ask another boy, who also ended up rejecting me. He probably told me no because he thinks I'm a stalker...ha ha. (That's a story for another time :) ) Just kidding. At school on Thursday, during lunch, he came up to me and asked if he could talk to me for a minute. He then led me off to a less densley populated area and kindly explained to me that he had already talked to another girl about going to the dance, so he couldn't go with me. After that, he gave me a hug, which made me feel slightly better. So now I'm probably not even going to go to the dance. Oh well. I'm tired of dwelling on the negative, so now I'll tell you about my grandparents. They were called to serve at the Polynesian Culture Center (PCC for short) in Hawaii. Their farewell was yesterday, and this morning they went to the MTC. This is very exciting! This weekend I also get to perform in my annual ballet performance. This year we are doing the ballet "The Sleeping Beauty". Because I got injured only a month into the season, and I had to take four months off, my only part in the ballet is a 30-second solo. No joke. It really is only 30 seconds. They gave my solo the title of "Queen of the Village". I'm pretty sure they only called me "Queen of the Village" because they wanted me to feel like I had a special part, when really my part wasn't anything special at all. They probably made up this part just because they needed to give me one, and there wasn't anything else they could give me. Well, I'm thinkin this post is kinda long, it's probably gettin kidna boring, and it definately needs to end. So, bye for now!
P.S. My sister just informed me that this post sounds really sad....I really didn't mean for it to sound so sad! I promise! :)
