Camping Trip

So today we (my dad, my mom, Brooklyn and I) arrived home from our 3 day camping trip. It was a lot of fun! We embarked on this camping trip on Tuesday morning. After a (not so) quick stop at the Lodge, we started off to our campsite. Mom drove the truck, Dad drove the ranger, and Brooklyn and I drove ATV's. We camped at a campsite near the Boy Scout camp by the East Fork of the Bear River. When we arrived, we set up our tents (Mom and Dad had a tent, and Brooklyn and I shared a tent). That afternoon, as well as on Wednesday, we had many fun activites. We went on an ride in the ranger (during which we found snow on the top of the mountain. It was great fun to play in. We also stopped and shot a gun at some cans we had brought along.), did an activity with a compass, and played the good ol' train game. Brooklyn and I also spent much time sitting in our camp chairs reading Harry Potter. While on this camping trip, we also saw a lot of wildlife. Tuesday night there was a deer bedding down near our campsite (we decided it was watching over and protecting us from any bears that might've been around, because we heard some weird barking/growling noise which we supposed was maybe a bear). There were also many other deer, a rabbit (yes, a rabbit), a mouse, squirrels, chickmunks, birds (of course), and the occaisonal squeaky (the little mice/squirrel/chickmunk/gopher things that run across the road). This morning we cleaned up camp and headed for home (with another quick (this time it really was quick) stop at the Lodge). All in all, it was really fun.
