My Delicious Creations

I'm back with more news! This semester I've cooked multiple times. In the first two and half weeks of this semester, I've already cooked more times than I did for the entire duration of last semester. Here are a couple of pictures of my creations.

So last week I decided to make blueberry muffins (homemade from scratch); however, I found out that I didn't have a mixing bowl or anything to really mix it with. I resorted to using a pot and a plastic fork (yes, I really did use a plastic fork).

This is the finished product. They actually turned out pretty tasty.

My roommate Ali and I signed up to make a treat for our FHE yesterday, so while I was at home for the weekend I got a recipie for apple crisp. We made it, but we were kind of worried that it wouldn't taste very good because we've never made it before. Right before we walked out the door, we pulled it out of the oven so we could take it to FHE. When we decided to eat our dessert, it was unanimously agreed that our apple crisp was delicious. We were very happy.

The other dish that I have cooked is spaghetti (after all, it is my specialty...hahaha). My roommate Ali and I decided to throw a piece of spaghetti at the wall to see if it was done (if it's done, it's supposed to stick to the wall). It stuck; therefore, we decided that it was done. Ali made meatballs, so we had spaghetti and meatballs. It was very delicious.

Well, that's all I have to report on at this moment in time, unless you want to count the fact that I auditioned for the Orem Institute Choir that is singing in the April 2010 180th Annual General Conference, and I got the position of first position alternate (which basically means that if one of the 90 girls that sings my part drops out of the choir, I will replace her and get to sing in the choir for General Conference). I am very excited.
